Instructions

  • Welcome to TritonCard, a card game where you play against the professor. The goal is to collect cards and win by either collecting 3 of the same type or 1 of each type.
  • The timer represents the amount of time you have to choose a card. If a card is not chosen before the timer runs out, the game will automatically select a card from the active deck for you. Head over to the collections page to customize your deck
  • The colorful slots on the top of the game board represent the cards that are won each round. The slots on the left are the represent the cards that the professor has won, while the slots on the right are cards that you have won
  • There are a few important things to note on each card. The type, card listed on the upper left corner and the ranking, listed on the upper right. These 2 elements are the most important in determining the winner of each turn.
  • The 3 card types are: dining, living, and structure. The ranking is a number from 1-5, with 1 being the lowest ranking and 5 being the highest.
  • Each turn, both the student and professor choose a card to play. The winner is determined by type hierarchy and if both cards are the same type, the card with the higher ranking wins.

How to win

  • There are 2 paths to achieve victory in this game
  • The first path is to collect 3 types of the same card i.e. 3 blue dining cards
